About goHome Craft
An education platform for people who want to understand their homes — not a store, not a contractor marketplace.
What we are
goHome Craft publishes home improvement education: step-by-step guides, complete DIY projects, video walkthroughs and interactive calculators. Our business is teaching, and our measure of success is a homeowner who makes better decisions — about what to attempt, what to buy, and when to call a professional.
What we are not
We are not a hardware store and we do not sell materials. We do not take contractor commissions and we do not publish sponsored instructions. Calculators never invent market prices — cost tools use your own rates with clearly labeled placeholder defaults.
How content is made
Guides are written by tradespeople and long-practicing DIYers, then pass editorial and safety review before publishing. Content carries its author, technical reviewer, publish date and last-updated date. High-risk topics receive mandatory professional review.
See the Editorial Policy and Safety Policy for the full workflow.
Measurements & audience
We are built for a global audience from day one: every calculator runs in metric and imperial, currencies are configurable, and terminology favors plain English. Building codes are local — we mark code-dependent outputs as preliminary and always point you to your local authority.
